Commitment to Veterans Hiring

Bp has been recognized for its efforts in supporting veterans both inside and outside of the company. We recently renewed our statement of support with the Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). ESGR, an office of the U.S. Department of Defense, promotes cooperation and understanding between reserve service members and their civilian employers.

At BP, we are committed to supporting our employees who serve as Active Reservists and in the National Guard by offering a comprehensive range of benefits. Our competitive pay structure ensures that their financial needs are met, while our full health care coverage and premium insurance offerings provide peace of mind. We offer paid vacation and holidays, along with a robust BP Retirement Accumulation Plan and BP Employee Savings Plan to secure their future. Our performance incentives reward dedication and excellence, and our BP Care Employee Assistance Program provides additional support. We also recognize milestones with service anniversary awards and provide a variety of work/life benefits and perks. To further enhance their overall well-being, we offer an Employee Matching Fund, a Wellbeing Program, and generous parental leave, ensuring our employees can thrive both personally and professionally. Lastly we provide leave benefits to support our employees who serve as Active Reservists and in the National Guard. We recognize the importance of their commitment and aim to facilitate a smooth balance between their military duties and civilian careers.

Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

Diversity, equity and inclusion isn’t just a box-ticking exercise for us. We take it seriously. We use our global framework for action to plan, deliver and measure our DE&I initiatives and we report our diversity data internally and externally to identify gaps, set direction and monitor progress. You can learn more about how we’re in action and see some of the great examples of our employees’ activities in our annual DE&I report.

At bp, we know there is a disability inclusion challenge in the world. As an employer, a customer-facing ‎organization, and a corporate citizen we can and must play a role to improve inclusion for the estimated 15% ‎of the world’s population living with a disability.‎ We aim to create a more accessible global workplace with the support of our employee-led accessibility business ‎resource group, which focuses on disability, neurodiversity and mental wellbeing. We aspire to be a company ‎that is representative of, and serves the needs of, all people including those with disabilities.
