Our Pratt Whitney Global Digital Technology team is seeking a highly experienced, highly motivated Director, Business Systems & Transformation.
This is a hybrid opportunity located at our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.
What You Will Do:
The Director of Business Systems & Transformation is responsible for supporting and partnering with the Pratt & Whitney Strategy & Transformation and ES Operational Excellence organizations.
This role requires extensive experience and critical knowledge with RTX’s Goal Alignment, REPM, and CORE processes. This leader will supervise a team of specialists that will focus on supporting digital initiatives for the Pratt & Whitney Strategy & Transformation office, digitalization of goals and improvement targets, and cross Pratt & Whitney transformation efforts.
This role reports to the VP, CDO within the Pratt & Whitney Digital Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership and Collaboration
- Serves as the primary strategic liaison between PW Digital and PW Strategy & Transformation.
- Builds and maintain strong partnerships with the ES Operational Excellence organization.
- Assesses ES Operational Excellence’s digital tool suite and identify opportunities to adopt or adapt them within PW in coordination with PW Strategy & Transformation.
- Provides integrated visibility to the PW Digital SLT on initiatives spanning PW Strategy & Transformation and ES Operational Excellence.
Goals & Improvement Targets
- Partners with PW Strategy & Transformation to define technology solutions that support digitalization of goals and improvement targets.
- Collaborates with the PW Digital Office of the CDO and the PW Digital CORE Embedded Lead to ensure alignment of goals, improvement targets, and catch‑ball processes across PW Digital and key stakeholders.
- Works with the Service Assurance leader and PW Digital SLT to establish operational processes that reinforce accountability for PW Digital goals and improvement targets.
Cross Transformation Efforts
- Support and execute cross transformation initiatives for PW Digital (e.g., Program Cockpit / CORE Control Room, M&A, REPM, etc.).
- Act as PW Digital’s focal point and representative for all cross‑transformation activities.
- Provide regular status updates and insights on cross‑transformation efforts to the PW Digital SLT.
Service Ownership
- Own, maintain, and continuously improve the digital systems, dashboards, and tools supporting PW Strategy & Transformation, including digitized goals, improvement targets, and Planview.
- Partner with PW Strategy & Transformation and ES Operational Excellence to deliver digital enablement for REPM and Planview.
- Define and maintain a technology roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders to advance digital capabilities and system performance.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information System, Information Technology or related technical field with 14+ years of of experience in Digital Strategy & Transformation, including digital goal alignment processes, M&A execution, and digitalization/automation of business processes; OR an advanced degree with 12+ years of experience in Digital Strategy & Transformation, including digital goal alignment processes, M&A execution, and digitalization/automation of business processes.
- Strong proficiency in industry‑leading analytics, dashboarding tools, and digital reporting capabilities.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- CORE Expert certification or extensive knowledge of RTX CORE processes (or equivalent).
- Deep experience with RTX Goal Alignment, Improvement Target, REPM, and RLPM processes (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated sound judgment, decision‑making ability, and adaptability in complex environments.
- Proven track record of building trusted relationships and serving as a strategic partner across multiple stakeholder groups.

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
