We're looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our CNS Traffic Surveillance engineering team. In this role, you'll design, develop, integrate, verify, and certify next-generation avionics software that powers mission-critical surveillance systems.
Working alongside experienced architects, systems engineers, and software experts, you'll contribute across the entire product lifecycle—from requirements and architecture through certification and deployment—while helping deliver high-quality, safety-critical solutions used worldwide.
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for safety-critical surveillance systems.
Develop tools and automation that improve software development and verification efficiency.
Develop and verify DO-178C DAL B compliant software.
Execute unit, integration, and system-level testing for embedded applications.
Collaborate with systems engineers and architects to translate requirements into scalable software solutions.
Participate in peer reviews of requirements, architecture, design, and source code to ensure software quality.
Support certification activities, customer reviews, and regulatory audits.
Analyze software defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive timely resolution.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams.
Troubleshoot build, integration, and deployment issues.
Drive continuous improvements in software quality, engineering processes, and automation.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related STEM discipline.
10+ years of embedded software development experience.
8+ years of hands-on experience programming in C++ and Python.
6+ years of experience developing software on Wind River VxWorks or similar real-time operating systems.
Strong understanding of the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, software design, implementation, integration, verification, and validation.
7+ years of experience with hardware/software integration and board-level debugging.
Experience with development tools including Git, Visual Studio, VxWorks, and RapiTest.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
RTCA DO-178B/C software development and certification.
Avionics systems including Communication, Navigation & Surveillance (CNS), Flight Management Systems (FMS), Flight Control Systems (FCS), and Cockpit Displays.
Air Traffic Surveillance products such as Transponder, TCAS, ADS-B In/Out, and Traffic Applications.
Software requirements analysis, traceability, and verification.
Avionics communication protocols including ARINC 429, ARINC 653, AFDX, CAN, and TCP/IP.

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 10+ years of relevant professional experience; or
