Job Summary:
This onsite Global Trade Lead role for RTX India Pvt Ltd will be responsible for supporting strategic leadership for compliant digital information system development/deployment, software classifications (both RTX developed and commercially procured software), and export license management in support of critical Global Trade (GT) initiatives across the local RTX sites.
We are currently seeking a proven, high-performing, GT professional to fill a key on-site Global Trade site lead role in support of Enterprise Services (ES) within RTX. This role will report to the Managing Director, RTX India Pvt Ltd and will have close working relationship with the Transformation and Global Trade team in USA. In this dynamic and fast-paced role you will partner and collaborate with business leaders and Global Trade colleagues across the company to understand the business goals and requirements when developing and deploying digital solutions while applying Global Trade compliance solutions in a proactive manner, consistent with the Global Trade vision and mission. As the Global trade site lead, you will develop the local Global Trade compliance strategy, lead all Global Trade digital compliance solutions/projects, and represent the Global trade function in leadership meetings/engagements as needed. The ability to build relationships, coach and influence leaders, exercise good judgment and work effectively across the RTX is critical in this role. Additionally, the confidence to proactively stretch yourself and engage in dialogue with leaders to facilitate their buy-in and engagement to drive optimal and forward-looking solutions is key to success for this role. The successful candidate should demonstrate an understanding digital compliance and how Global Trade can support business growth and performance by aligning the right solutions, ideas, skills, and people both domestically and globally. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Corporate Global Trade on operational activities such as Restricted Party Screening, Visitor Management, International Travel, Commodity Jurisdiction, and investigation and disclosure processes.
Represent the Global Trade program in discussions related to audits, policy development, monitoring activities, tools, resources, and overall program operations.
Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities, and lead the development of effective solutions through the Global Trade health‑monitoring program.
Provide ongoing training to onsite personnel to reinforce compliance expectations and maintain operational consistency.
Partner with the host business unit, security, and facilities management to ensure continued adherence to Global Trade requirements.
Engage with Digital Technology (DT) teams to support system‑related Global Trade processes and ensure global export authorizations are obtained, as applicable.
Collaborate with Supply Chain on S/4HANA, Vendor Master, and SAP‑related integrations to ensure end‑to‑end compliance.
Additional responsibilities may include:
15+yrs of experience will also be expected to have an awareness and working knowledge of adjacent digital compliance disciplines including cybersecurity, digital architecture & privacy.
This will include developing and maintaining standard work instructions to ensure systems and tools are implemented, executed and managed in accordance with all regulatory and RTX requirements. Candidate will also be required to provide periodic training to key personnel to ensure they thoroughly understand the evolving digital compliance review and classification process.
Candidate will also be responsible for creating and maintaining standard processes to ensure export authorizations are created, executed and managed by Authorization Owners (AO’s) within India in accordance with all regulatory and RTX requirements.
Candidate will need to periodically train these AO’s to ensure they fully understand their responsibilities in this role.
Candidate will also be required to work with other Major Operating Units, Central GT, and the various regional and GT discipline-specific Councils to ensure your site(s) is/are leveraging best practices and standard work are deployed worldwide.
Coordinating with RTX Transformation & Strategy GT, GT Program Support (GTPS), GT Requirements (GTR) and GT Investigation & Disclosure (GTI&D) teams.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
Requires expert or mastery level knowledge of work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have deep knowledge of project management. Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs or systems.
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
