Are you interested in playing a key role in defining the future of Aerospace and Defence? If so, we are hiring an SAP Leader to help drive our one RTX: Process & Systems Transformation.
The one RTX Process & Systems Transformation program will harmonize key business processes, associated tools, metrics, and reporting across the company, enabling the migration of capabilities into standardized ERP systems. RTX has chosen SAP’s S4 HANA to enable our future ERP system and has largely concluded the strategic definition and design phase and is now entering the initial blueprinting, build and support phases.
The RTX India - Plan to Sustain (P2S) & Source to Pay (S2P) SAP Leader will be responsible for leading our SAP ERP Process & System Transformation business analysts teams in India. You will implement tools and strategies to provide SAP support across enterprises to maintain business continuity and make business processes more efficient and effective.
This role will work with senior management and interdisciplinary teams to drive planning, processes, technology, and people management activities while overseeing all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

You are the ideal candidate if you have experience working within an organization that is responsible for driving large scale, complex programs and projects related to business process and system transformation, ideally ERP implementation using SAP’s S4 HANA solution.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the SAP P2S & S2P Functional teams at RTX India
Manages 10 to 20 members team of SAP functional and technical resources
Manage SAP resources within the P2S and S2P workstreams to meet customer requirements
Demonstrates strategic and visionary leadership skills through solid communication and collaboration with the team and stakeholders.
Collaborate with the SAP stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure business continuity and adherence to defined standards
Foster a high-performance team by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring & coaching
Lead End to End integration between functional & technical teams to meet business requirements
Work closely with customers to understand their needs, support business change and deliver consistently high-quality customer experience
Ability to adapt SAP Functional management to the overall digital governance development model.
Effectively delegate and focus team and resources on business priorities.
Ensure that all technology resources are productive and aligned to the business vision.
Publish periodic metrics to all key stakeholders
Drive innovation and continuous improvement culture across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
15+ years of relevant SAP experience
10+ years of hands-on experience in managing SAP resources
Subject matter expert on multiple SAP applications, including an understanding of business processes
Working knowledge in all aspects of the systems development life cycle and project life cycle.
Excellent communication, conflict management, stakeholder management, problem solving and leadership skills along with the ability to flex with the corporate culture.
Self-directed, polished professional who can work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Proven ability to estimate task duration for all project resources.
Ability to identify and close issues quickly and effectively.
Excellent organizational skills and an extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Critical thinker with strong analytical, data management and problem-solving skills.
Considerable experience in managing and administering projects of varying size and complexity.
Strong organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills.
Should have handled at least 11 - 20 people & Sound experience in delivery management
Required Education:
Minimum of 10 plus years’ experience in SAP and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams.
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
