The Corporate Real Estate Operations group is responsible for day to day, engineering, client and production services, and oversees leased and owned facilities to ensure business is conducted in a clean, safe and efficient work environment and that the value of the Company’s physical assets is protected and enhanced.
Responsibilities
Client services support
Assists Facilities Operations Associate Director and Supervisor with multiple upkeep projects, on-campus events and emergency responses as required
Performs monthly building inspections documenting facilities related needs allowing development of associated work orders
Responds to off-hour emergencies as needed
Work Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 2:30 P.M. – 11:00 P.M., with the ability to adjust working hours as necessary
Janitorial/Housekeeping Support
Assists the team who manages the contracted Housekeeping Services and provides direction and coordination of vendors’ supervisory and attendant staff
Coordinate special housekeeping projects (campus events set-up/break-down) and emergency responses
Surpervises contracted Housekeeping and Janitorial Services for ESPN Connecticut campus and assists with reconciling invoices for all housekeeping/janitorial activities
Validate and review daily housekeeping shift reports. Provide analysis and reports to ESPN management
Oversee and coordinate cleaning equipment repairs as required
Assists with the coordination of snow removal on ESPN properties (seasonal)
Conference/Event Support
Provides conference planning support for conference room set-ups and events that take place at ESPN Connecticut based properties
Oversees second shift conference room layout conversions (follow-up and communications)
Café Operations Support
Provide operations support for the Assoc Dir for any food and beverage needs
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Adaptable with the flexibility to work well under pressure
Detail oriented
Strong customer service skills
Able to work with all levels of staff and vendors
Ability to perform tasks independently within established guidelines
Flexibility to work a varying schedule with potential overtime as approved8
Fluency in Spanish highly recommended
Required Education
High School Diploma
Required Experience
2 years experience in facilities or operations, working in maintenance operations of a multiple building complex
Microsoft Office Basic Programs
Have in-depth knowledge of proper use of maintenance supplies & equipment
Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of Connecticut
Intermediate or better knowledge of Excel
SAP Casual Buyer

The hiring range for this position in CT is $49,200.00-$66,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
