Position Overview
This role will primarily focus on the development and production management of Art Toy/Hardline, Plush, Apparel, and accessories. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of translating consumer insights, market trends, and commercial objectives into product opportunities that balance creativity, cost, and sales potential for licensed product development, excellent supply chain management skills, and experience in cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end development and production of Art Toy/Hardline (figuring, blind box, etc.), Plush, Apparel, and accessories.
Collaborate closely with design teams to translate IP concepts into feasible product solutions and planning team to review product performance and apply learnings to future product development.
Manage sourcing/supplier relationships, including cost negotiation, and production timeline tracking
Ensure products meet quality, safety, and compliance standards
Coordinate cross-functional communication with channels, marketing, and logistics teams
Independently lead assigned strategic product initiatives from concept to market launch, driving cross-functional alignment, decision making, and issue resolution throughout the development process and monitor production schedules to ensure timely product delivery
Continuously optimize product cost structures to enhance competitiveness
Research market trends, new materials, and processes to drive product innovation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Product Design, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Minimum 4 years of experience in Art Toy/Hardline (figuring, blind box, etc.), plush, or apparel/accessories product development and production; licensed product experience preferred
Familiarity with the entire product development cycle from design, prototyping, production to quality control
Strong supplier management and negotiation skills; experience with Asian supply chains is a plus
Knowledge of plush, toy’s GB standards and environmental regulations
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken) as working languages
Willingness to travel as needed (primarily within China)
