UnspecifiedWe are looking for a results-driven Operational Excellence (OPEX) Engineer to lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll apply Lean and CORE principles to optimize processes, improve workflow, and maximize resource utilization. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, solve operational challenges, and build a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making, training, and hands-on implementation. Conduct research and analysis to evaluate potential solutions for optimizing equipment, procedures, workforce, or training to ensure the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow.
Standard Work improvements and resource allocation (materials, personnel, and equipment) to maximize efficiency and floor space utilization.
Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with CORE / Lean Manufacturing principles, including kaizen events and process maturity assessments.
Partner with manufacturing cells to implement CORE tools and drive operational excellence across the site.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven methods (Root Cause Analysis, Problem Solving) to identify and execute improvement opportunities.
Review and provide analytical support for documentation such as proposals, cost control plans, productivity improvement studies, and inventory management systems.
Facilitate internal CORE/Lean training sessions and contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement at all organizational levels.
Resolve day-to-day technical challenges on production lines to minimize disruption and ensure smooth operations.
Support project management activities and cross-functional collaboration as needed.
Typically requires a University Degree in industrial engineering or related fields and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience.
Typically requires 1 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Standard Times, Line Balancing, etc.).
Experience with the CORE Operating System or similar lean frameworks.
Advanced skills in Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, basic Power BI knowledge) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).
Strong communication and presentation skills.
English proficiency: Intermediate to advanced (approximately 70–80%).
Experience managing or supporting cross-functional projects, ideally in manufacturing or a similar industry.
AutoCAD experience.
