The Infrastructure and Operations Solutions Architect is responsible for developing the overall vision of the projected solution for specific systems or projects. This role requires the architect to provide leadership, facilitation, analysis, and design tasks essential to ensure that information systems and platforms are designed and evolved appropriately.
Primary Responsibilities
• Vision Development: Develop the overarching vision for the solutions, ensuring that it aligns with the specific requirements of the system or project.
• Leadership: Provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that the design and implementation follow the established guidelines and standards.
• Analysis and Design: Perform comprehensive analysis and design tasks to ensure the appropriateness of information systems and platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project and business resources to ensure the correct implementation of the initial design.
• Design best-in-class solutions that scale globally in a hybrid environment.
• Compliance: Ensure all designs and implementations meet the Enterprise and Security Architecture guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in developing and implementing solutions for information systems and platforms in hybrid environments.
• Strong leadership, speaking and presentation skills to work with technical and business resources to gain alignment on directional technical solutions.
• Proficient analysis and design capabilities to build out the architecture artifacts requirements needed to review solutions with other architects and architecture review approvals.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Understanding of Enterprise and Security Architecture guidelines and the ability to ensure compliance.
• Previous experience working on M&A efforts to be able to manage efforts
Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of Virtualization and Cloud Computing solutions in Azure and AWS
• Experience in design with scalable architectures leveraging cloud-native technologies, microservices, containers, and serverless technologies required.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Understanding of Low code platform and technologies such as Power Apps preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and access control required.
• Strong Knowledge of disaster recovery planning, backup solutions, and business continuity strategies to ensure system resilience.
• Strong understanding of M365 platforms and architecture design principles.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform, ITSM knowledge, CSDM 4.0 or higher.
• Strong understanding of Unified Communication cloud platforms.
Essential Duties:

1. Develop System Specifications (30%): Collaborate with business program managers to create system specifications that meet customer requirements. Consult on technology implementation and modification activities for existing and new system solutions. Ensure alignment with the enterprise by consulting with other Architecture team members. Document and present system design artifacts to Architecture Review Board.
2. Evaluate Technologies (20%): Assess technologies for specific applications and projects, ensuring compliance with Enterprise and Security Architecture guidelines. Facilitate the research, evaluation, and selection of hardware and software technology for programs and projects, considering enterprise integration.
3. Analyze Platforms (15%): Evaluate current and new platforms to determine the direction for additional technologies and features, such as cloud, mobile, and application readiness and roadmap.
4. Participate in Architecture Group (10%): Engage in activities ranging from strategic planning to design reviews, focusing on the needs and integration of individual systems. Determine system lifecycles and roadmaps for individual business programs.
5. Maintain Documentation (10%): Keep system documentation up to date and provide input on system design documentation.
6. Collaborate with Solution Architects (10%): Work with other Solution Architects to maintain reusable solution architecture patterns across products and platforms.
7. Other Duties (5%): Perform other duties as assigned

• 3+ years of architecture experience in Infrastructure and Operations implementations
• Prior experience in a similar role for implementing mission critical and complex software solutions leveraging cloud platforms required
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies required
