What You Will Do
Day-to-day operations of the MRT team and provide MRT support to customers in Asia Pacific region. This includes the MRT events administration; export control clearance checks etc.
Perform and certify maintenance tasks, repairs, and defect rectifications on Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) engine series in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements.
Maintain the highest standards of airworthiness when performing inspections and/ or maintenance tasks.
Coordinate with respective Engine Programs, Field Support Manager (FSMs) and Customer First (CFirst) provide on-site maintenance support and achieve minimum engine down time for customers.
Effectively manage customer situations through strong technical expertise, professional communication, and responsive support, enhancing customer confidence in P&WC products and services.
Liaise with customers to plan and coordinate maintenance schedules, define MRT work scopes, and facilitate commercial and payment-related arrangements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, and Quality, to ensure the successful deployment and completion of MRT events.
Travel frequently, often at short notice, to customer facilities across the region to perform on-site engine maintenance and technical support activities. Provide in-shop support as assigned.
Support engine field recommendation/ troubleshooting query from customer/ FSM/ CRM case
EHS Responsibilities:
Work in accordance with accepted safe and environmental practices
Report unsafe conditions and practices
Make safety suggestions
Qualifications You Must Have
CAAS B11, B13, C14, C15, M10/L11/L12 Certification or its equivalent is required.
Diploma in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or any related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of aviation experience, with hands-on experience in gas turbine engines
Knowledge of Gas Turbine Engine constructions is required.
Troubleshooting with customer for service related problem encountered during operation of all P&WC engines
Ability to interpret technical standards, drawings, specifications, and other relevant documentation to identify product discrepancies and deficiencies
Must be a professional team player with a positive and adaptable attitude, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with external customers and internal stakeholders.
Must be able to travel internationally at short notice and for extended periods to provide on-site customer support when required.
Must be flexible to work on shifts as operational needs dictate.
Possess multi-tasking abilities with strong analytical skills and meticulous to ensure a high standard of quality.
