Collins Aerospace is looking to hire a Senior Business Development Manager to support our US Navy and USMC Open Systems Solutions Portfolio. This is a remote position, however, the preference would be to live near RTX concentration areas (McKinney TX, Tucson, AZ, Cedar Rapids, IA or Arlington, VA, etc.) where suitable communications are available to meet program requirements.
What You Will Do
Lead all US Navy/USMC MiS enterprise Business Development Open Systems Solutions activities to include:
Lead the identification and development of SBU market requirements, and go-to-market strategies for next generation platforms and generational platform capability upgrades.
Responsible for developing, forecasting and capturing new SBU enterprise opportunities and maintaining key OEM and US Navy/USMC relationships with new and existing customers.

This role requires:
Strong collaboration and leadership skills
Proven and appropriate leadership roles in OPNAV or TYCOM, COCOM
Travel Requirements (30-50 percent) to any RTX facility within the US
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7years of experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience with US Navy/USMC and DoD Power Projection and Force Application, Dynamic Long Range Fires, Weapons, Autonomy CONOPs and Use Cases
10+ years of experience within the DoD and/or Business Development in an appropriate field
Qualifications We Prefer
Knowledge and understanding of the US Navy/USMC vision for multi-domain, connected battlespace, CJADC2 efforts, requirements development, and PAE acquisition processes
Expeirence/knowledge of multi-constellation SATCOM and MOSA processing and communications capabilities
Qualified Weapons School Graduate / Tactics Instructor (GTI, CAEWWS, SFTI, SMWDC, WTI etc…) preferred
Experience/understanding of US DoD budget and procurement processes and comfortable interacting with DoD SMEs and Senior leaders

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
