At our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Marston Green, we provide specialist technical support for Electronic Engine Control, Fuel Metering units, Actuators and Pump units widely used in the Aerospace industry. Marston Green is a $300m+ turnover Repair and Overhaul site employing some 300+ across two operational modules.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to hire an
Electronics Technician to support our continued growth onsite.
What you will do:
• Disassemble, evaluate, assemble and test electronic engine control systems in accordance with relevant customer, design and quality procedures meeting all customer specifications and expectations
• Meet turn around time and output targets by adopting a flexible approach within the team and carrying out all tasks directly impacting upon turn around time including document processing and product conformance/release.
• Apply appropriate quality assurance techniques and accept responsibility for individual and team standards.
• Actively participate in CORE and Continuous Improvement activities.
• Assist, through training, in the development of colleagues.
• Maintain all relevant operational control processes such as visual management boards/IT systems and planning schedules.

Night Shift
The hours are – 9:30pm – 6:30am Mon-Thursday with Fridays off

Preferred Skills & Experience:
Electronics experience and qualifications (HNC, HND)
Experience in a high technology Electronics engineering business
Attention to detail with a methodical approach

High levels of motivation
The business operates a variety of working patterns including days, double day, 4on/4off and nights. Previous experience or a willingness to work shift patterns is essential
