FirstLight Home Care of Dothan is looking for dependable, responsible, and caring people who are pursuing a career in healthcare and want a part-time job that can give them valuable hands-on experience along the way.
Whether you're studying to become a CNA, LPN, RN, nurse, or another healthcare professional, this can be a great way to build your skills, gain experience, and make a difference while you're in school.
CNA certification is NOT required.
Pay & Benefits
-$12.00–$14.00 per hour
-Loyalty bonuses at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year

We offer part-time opportunities throughout the week, including:
-Daytime: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
-Overnight: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
-Shifts generally range from 4–12 hours
-Every other weekend availability required
-We'll consider your school schedule and availability when matching you with clients
Caregivers with greater availability generally have more opportunities to build consistent hours.

What You'll Do
You'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes and may assist with:
-Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
-Mobility assistance and fall prevention
-Meal preparation and feeding assistance
-Companionship and conversation
-Medication reminders
-Light housekeeping related to client care
-Transportation when needed
This is hands-on caregiving, so we're looking for people who are comfortable providing personal care and genuinely enjoy helping others.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for students and recent graduates who are:
-Currently enrolled in or recently completed a CNA, LPN, RN, nursing, or healthcare-related program
-Interested in gaining real-world caregiving experience
-Dependable and responsible about showing up for scheduled shifts
-Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
-Professional, compassionate, and willing to learn
-Able to work every other weekend
-Able to pass a background check and drug screen
-Comfortable working in homes with pets
-Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Previous professional caregiving experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
