Job Summary:

The Associate Product Manager is a member of the Technology team that supports the planning, delivery, and ongoing enhancement of digital experiences across Disney Experiences. Working closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, designers, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, this role contributes to the development and optimization of Guest and Cast experiences across consumer-facing web and mobile platforms.

This position will focus on the WDW Festivals & Events team, supporting the delivery of personalized, timely, and relevant content experiences through web and mobile applications. The Associate Product Manager will assist with product planning, requirements gathering, backlog management, content configuration, testing, launch coordination, and ongoing product maintenance. This role partners closely with operations, design, analytics, and development teams to support product delivery and continuous improvement efforts across Disney Experiences.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. They should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, leveraging data to inform recommendations, and supporting the delivery of high-quality digital experiences that delight our Guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partner & Stakeholder Support –

• Assists with partner communications and requirements gathering to help align digital initiatives with business goals and priorities
• Supports communication between business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams on assigned initiatives
• Adapts to shifting priorities while supporting multiple concurrent projects and workstreams
• Assists in gathering, documenting, and refining business requirements to support digital initiatives and product enhancements
• Collaborates with Product Managers and Product Owners across product lines to support a seamless Guest experience

Product Planning & Delivery –

• Supports the translation of business objectives and digital strategy into product requirements, user stories, and actionable workstreams
• Assists in developing project documentation, including objectives, target audiences, requirements, and implementation considerations
• Supports the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for digital products and experiences
• Supports the delivery of marketing and operational initiatives by coordinating activities, tracking milestones, and identifying risks or dependencies
• Supports product delivery and ongoing maintenance activities, including content configuration, product setup, troubleshooting, and operational support to help ensure a high-quality Guest experience
• Maintains feature development activities and supports product backlog management, attending daily scrums to help inform priority decisions and identify roadblocks
• Identifies and escalates delivery risks, roadblocks, scope questions, and dependencies to Product Managers and Product Owners as appropriate
• Supports the preparation and delivery of presentations, status updates, and product recommendations that communicate project progress and key outcomes to partners and leadership audiences, under the guidance of Product Managers and product leadership
• Builds effective working relationships with Creative, Media, Copy, Product and Technology teams to support successful product delivery

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 0+ years of relevant experience in product management, digital products, technology, marketing, analytics, or related fields
• Familiarity with digital products, mobile applications, websites, or technology platforms
• Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional, matrixed organization to support technical, user, and business needs in a fast-paced digital environment
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence to support product delivery, content management, data configuration, and service integration activities
• Familiarity with content management systems used to support website and mobile app updates, including content publishing, media management, page creation, and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to support recommendations and decision-making
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional partners, stakeholders, and team members
• Familiarity with the iOS/Android release lifecycle

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a comparable field of study, or equivalent work experience

 

The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $92,900 to $124,500 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
