Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) is looking for a seasoned and visionary art-based creative for the role of Creative Services Manager for the Marketing Team. This person has world-class art direction and visual storytelling, is idea-driven, curious about consumers and insights, and has deep respect for the brand and the organization’s business needs. In this role, they will help drive creative strategy, and oversee creative development for HKDL’s marketing communications across multiple platforms and geographic markets. They have a growth mindset that moves ahead of the market, and continually raises the bar for creative excellence.
Responsibilities
Creative Development & Direction
Translate marketing strategies and campaign briefs into compelling creative ideas that engage local, regional, and global audiences.
Lead the conceptualization, design, and production of marketing materials, including videos, digital content, print assets, OOH, social media, and in-park collateral.
Establish and protect HKDL’s long-term visual language and identity.
Partner closely with internal creative teams, copywriters, designers, and external agencies to maintain creative excellence and brand consistency.
Review and approve creative materials to ensure they reflect HKDL’s values, tone, and guest promise.
Project & Production Management
Manage the end-to-end creative development process — from ideation to execution, review, and execution.
Oversee production timelines, resource planning, and quality control for all creative deliverables.
Supervise photo and video shoots, ensuring creative intent translates effectively on screen and in print.
Strategic Collaboration
Partner with marketing strategists, consumer insights, and product teams to align creative messaging with business priorities and guest communications.
Contribute to creative strategy planning sessions, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches.
Manage relationships with vendors, agencies, and regional partners to ensure creative ideas deliver measurable brand and revenue impact.
Leadership & Team Development
Inspire, lead and coach a cross-disciplinary team of creative professionals (designers, art directors, producers).
Build a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability within the marketing organization.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in creative, brand marketing, or advertising, preferably with tourism, entertainment, hospitality, or lifestyle brand experience; with 3+ years managing teams.
Strong understanding of brand storytelling, audience engagement, and campaign performance measures.
Exceptional leadership, project management and stakeholder communication skills.
Strong knowledge of all types of creative production including video, social and print.
Able to generate a reliable supply of original ideas and visual concepts and adapt to different deliverables
Able to work independently with fast and accurate decision-making skills
Fluent in the latest art and design tools and technologies including Adobe Creative Cloud applications (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects). Proficiency in AI tools is a significant advantage.
Adaptable to fluid, fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Excellent command of English and/or Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
Previous experience with Disney or a multinational brand known for high creative standards is highly desirable.
