Drive the end-to-end development of new alliance partnerships, including influencing internal stakeholders, building business models, pitching creative partnership ideas, negotiating commercial terms, and executing partnership agreements and contracts.
Conduct market research on prospective partners, focusing on business trends and opportunities across the Greater Bay Area (GBA), Southeast Asia, and international markets to identify brands and strategies that align with HKDL’s partnership objectives and develop a robust pipeline of prospects.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of prospective partners’ business objectives, marketing goals, strategic initiatives, and industry landscape, and partner with management to formulate and execute new business development strategies from initial engagement through deal closure.
Generate new strategic partnerships and manage Operating Participant (leasing) opportunities to achieve HKDL’s revenue targets, ensuring strong alignment between prospective partners’ products, brands, and business strategies and HKDL’s sponsorship and commercial opportunities.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
5 to 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sponsorship, sales, or related commercial roles.
Proven ability to develop new business opportunities, negotiate complex deals, and manage strategic partnerships.
Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and ability to develop compelling business cases.
Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Knowledge of the GBA and Southeast Asia markets is an advantage.
