What You Will Do
Lead the day-to-day execution of Environmental, Health and Safety programs across the site.
Deploy site EHS strategies, annual objectives and corporate initiatives.
Manage and continuously improve the site's EHS Management System to ensure compliance with Singapore regulations and Pratt & Whitney corporate requirements.
Lead and provide oversight of the site Industrial Hygiene program, ensuring exposure assessments, health risk evaluations, monitoring programs, and appropriate exposure controls are effectively implemented.
Coordinate regulatory compliance activities, including permits, licenses, statutory submissions, inspections and reporting.
Manage compliance reviews, external audits and regulatory inspections, and ensure timely closure of audit findings and corrective actions.
Enhance the internal EHS audit program to improve audit coverage and effectiveness.
Manage workplace risk assessments and support operational teams in identifying, evaluating and mitigating occupational health and safety risks.
Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis and track corrective actions through to effective closure.
Monitor EHS performance indicators, identify trends and provide regular reports and recommendations to management.
Plan and execute regular EHS campaigns, awareness programs, and training to strengthen employee engagement and safety culture.
Drive EHS operational improvement initiatives and lead cross-functional projects to enhance safety, environmental performance, and operational efficiency.
Supervise and develop EHS personnel through coaching, mentoring and performance management, supporting succession planning and leadership development.
Perform any other duties such as Facility and Security Management as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant EH&S experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
Registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM) with Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements and EH&S compliance standards.
Experience in managing Occupational Safety and Industrial Hygiene (IH) programs within a manufacturing, aerospace or other highly regulated industrial environment.
Professional certification in Occupational Safety or Industrial Hygiene (e.g. Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent) is an advantage.
Qualifications We Prefer
Prior experience in a large MNC industrial or manufacturing facility.
Internal Auditor certification or training in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems is preferred, with experience conducting internal EHS audits.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coach and develop junior staff.
