Job Details
The Defense Technology Development group has a need for a Laser Engineer to support the design and development of our laser product line. This is a fast-paced, highly technical, and continually evolving product line with a rapid transition from R&D to production. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to demonstrate new concepts and turn those demonstrations into new products to support our customers’ needs and our internal development roadmap. We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated engineer/scientist to support and lead efforts ranging from product definition and planning through production and release. Ideal candidates will have a background in multiple disciplines, including laser physics, programming, and electronics. A detailed understanding of laser physics is required.

B.S. degree or higher in Physics, Lasers or related field5 years of relevant experienceAbility to multi-task and excel is a fast paced, changing environmentStrong oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated organizational, planning and interpersonal skillsPreferred Qualifications
Ph.
