10159009Job Description:
About the Role and Disney Programs
The Disney Programs Communications team, part of the larger Program Experience team, enhances and supports the participant experience for Disney Programs participants (including the College, Culinary, and International Programs). We partner with operations teams, key stakeholders, and Programs and housing partners to share communication directly with incoming and current participants. The team also supports Disney Programs' reputation and brand management. This means telling our participants' stories and communicating information and news across internal and external platforms, including company websites, email, and social media.
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Orlando, Florida, from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you will do
As a Communications and Social Media Intern, you will collaborate with a creative team to develop content that informs and inspires, helping create strategic, engaging communications for Disney Programs participants.
In this role, you will create a wide range of communications materials, including newsletters, emails, blog articles, and video content for both internal and external audiences. Strong writing, storytelling, and proofreading skills are essential.
You will also help develop content for our social media channels. From brainstorming and pitching ideas to bringing them to life through filming, photography, editing, and publishing, you will gain hands-on experience in every stage of the content development process.
In addition to writing and content creation, you will assist with administrative responsibilities and support participant events, arrivals, and other program-related initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build your skills in professional communications, project management, social media content creation, and writing.
