In this leadership role, you will manage ore extraction, mobile equipment, and mining activities while driving safety, efficiency, and financial performance.
*Key Responsibilities*
* *Operations Leadership:* Oversee daily mining activities, ore extraction, and mobile equipment maintenance.
* *Financial Management:* Produce and manage the annual capital and operating budgets for the quarries.
* *Strategic Planning:* Utilize mine planning and AutoCAD software to direct short- and long-term site initiatives.
* *Vendor & Contract Relations:* Negotiate with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-efficient supply, parts, and services.
* *Regulatory & Technical Compliance:* Maintain a safe site environment; obtain and hold an FAA Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107) for drone operations above the mine site.
*Qualifications & Experience*
* *Education:* B.S. in Mining Engineering, Minerals Engineering, or Geological Engineering.
* *Experience:* 2+ years of experience in operations, mine planning, and maintenance.
* *Leadership:* Demonstrated leadership experience
* *Technical Skills:* Proficiency in Mine planning software, AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, and office systems (IFS).
* *Core Competencies:* Strong negotiation skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to simultaneously manage multiple initiatives across locations.
Base salary: $120,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience, plus a discretionary bonus based on company performance and individual achievements.
