Active and existing security clearance required after day 1Collins Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform duties at a work center with an emphasis on communications products. The primary work product is the complete digital design of a PCB (Printed Wiring Board) from inception through layout and assembly. Responsibilities will also include test and troubleshooting.
The successful candidate must operate with the highest level of personal integrity, adapt to rapidly changing circumstances, and adhere to accepted processes to ensure successful completion of projects. Other desirable attributes include being able to work under own initiative, be calm under pressure and responsive to change with a logical approach to technical problem resolution and decision making.
What You Will Do
You will work within a Digital Design team to generate and update schematics that incorporate microcontrollers, FPGAs, memory interfaces, and supporting circuitry based on design requirements
You will partner with ECAD designers to deliver fully detailed databases and documentation for PWB/CCA fabrication
You will collaborate with cross‑functional engineering disciplines to ensure design robustness and producibility
You will perform/support Design Verification and Troubleshooting
You will produce and present Design Documentation
Qualifications You Must Have
Experience with schematic capture tools using Siemen’s Xpedition Toolset or equivalent
Experience with selecting Parts and creating Bill Of Materials/Parts List (BOM/PL)
Experience with bench level testing, troubleshooting & lab equipment
Minimum 2 years of experience as an electrical engineer developing Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA)
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
